A good day

I woke up today in a happy mood.  Zac was still in bed with me and we both snoozed to be able to spoon in the morning.  You know you like a good 15 minute morning spoon too.  What's ridiculous is that our alarms are set opposite each other.  Zac's went off at 7:15, mine at 7:30, his at 7:40, then we just admitted that it was time to get up.  I got to give him a hug and kiss before he went to work.  Then I went to leave and it was BEAUTIFUL outside. Sunny and warm and I even left my coat inside!  I love those kinda mornings.  To top it all off, I had an iced tea and poptarts on my drive to work while listening to a cd called 90's rock which started out with Sublime and 311, then Eve 6.  Just try to be grumpy while listening to Sublime.  I dare you!  The best is yet to come though because the massage therapist in the office is gonna come in and give me a 30 minute massage today to help me fix my low back up.  I'm a little off since I scooted around patching the roof of the trailer for 3 hours in a cheerleader pose (the one where you sit with both knees facing the same direction, what's it called Annie, a double hook or cheer sit position? that's right, i know my cheer terminology) but I guess that's to be expected.  I'm just thrilled that spring may actually be here!  Its some much needed sunshine.  Plus, I planted seedlings last week to get them ready for my garden this summer.  Mom and Dad don't know it yet, but I'm planning a big ol garden at their house.  Yay!  So far I've started onion, brocolli, cauliflower, tomatos (roma and heirloom), jalapenos, bell peppers, and some flowers (asters, columbine, merigold, and cosmos)  I am PUMPED!  I love gardens.  Love them. Now I just have to get that stinkin (literally, it reaks of pee) trailer done so I can have the time to go plant my garden.  Hope you have a great day too! Enjoy this sunshine!

  1. I hate to break it to you sister, but you do not know your cheerleading terminology. That type of sitting on the floor isn't a term - it's a way of life. We didn't call it anything, but knew it was the way to sit. Sucks to be out of the loop huh!

Anyway - enjoy the massage - I'm cussing you because I want mine :)
