Zac's family is good to me. They treat me like I belong and love me just like another sister. It's nice. Unfortunately, they live kinda far away (about 3 and 1/2 hours) and we don't see them like we should. They were all thrilled for Zac and I when we announced baby Clifford was on the way. Knowing that it would be hard for all the family to make it down, his sisters decided to throw me a shower up north.
We had it at Zac's mom's house. How cute is the table?
Zac's sister Sue made the cake. I was impressed.
This is some of Zac's family
Our niece Lilly, mother Lolla, sisters Sara and Sue, and niece Emily.
My college roomate and dear friend Chelsea.
Another good picture of Lilly, Sara, and I.
This is Zac's grandma Betty.
His Aunt Peggy, Betty, and Lolla
Chloe and Danielle
And the babies. After seeing his sisters, and the new babies, I think it seems likely that blonde hair and blue eyes may be in the cards for baby Ballard.
For those of you who may be concerned....my Cliffbelly is large and in charge at this point.
Clifford and I got a bunch of fab gifts at the shower. Since I have been unemployed, and money is far tighter, I am even more appreciative of the generosity of our friends and family. I am a lucky girl to have them!
